πŸ“£Attention!! Important Update!πŸ“£

We’ve heard a few rumors that Crossroads Counseling is closed, and we want to clear that up right away. That is NOT true. Crossroads Counseling is still open and operating as usual.

We do, however, have some exciting updates to share.

Crossroads Counseling, currently owned by Angi Allphin, will soon be transitioning to Ashley Swon Counseling. Ashley has been with Crossroads Counseling working under Angi's supervision since 2023. She is currently the only provider at the practice.

In the coming months, Crossroads Counseling will be closing, and services will continue under a new practice, Ashley Swon Counseling, owned by Ashley Swon.

Over time this page will be phased out.

To stay connected and keep up with updates, please follow Ashley on Facebook and Instagram. Click the link below for all of her socials and contact info.

Thank you so much for your continued support. We’re grateful to be part of this community and appreciate you all during this transition!

When Barney told Andy he should just let Opie "decide for himself" how he wanted to live… Andy had these words of wisdom.

"No, I'm afraid it don't work that way. You can't let a young’n decide for himself. He'll grab at the first flashy thing with shiny ribbons on it. Then, when he finds out there's a hook in it, it's too late. Wrong ideas come packaged with so much glitter that it's hard to convince β€˜em that other things might be better in the long run. All a parent can do is say 'wait' and 'trust me' and try to keep temptation away."

Somehow... we have lost this basic truth. Too many people are more worried about being their child’s friend, than in being a parent.

Did you know that exposure to sunlight can have a profound impact on our mental well-being? Sunlight helps regulate our circadian rhythm, boosts serotonin levels (the "feel-good" neurotransmitter), and promotes the production of vitamin Dβ€”all of which contribute to improved mood and overall mental health. So, take a moment to step outside, soak up some sun, and let its warm embrace lift your spirits. Remember, a little sunshine can go a long way in brightening your day and nourishing your mind.
