Old Man Winter is rearing his head again ❄️ Cold. Windy. Cloudy.
Still no reason to skip your workout.

If you have a floor and a wall, you have a gym. Period. No excuses. No equipment. Just move your body and get it done.

Here’s a simple lockdown workout using nothing but bodyweight, a wall, and the floor that’s sure to make you sweat! 😥 👇

Lockdown workout 🏋️‍♂️
Wall Sits 45 seconds
Push ups 10-15 reps
Bodyweight squats 15
Elbow plank 30 seconds
Mountain climbers 30
High knees 45 seconds

Rainy. Cold. Dreary.
And still… I showed up. 💪

If you’re a woman over 40, hear this:
Getting back in the gym doesn’t mean you failed. It means you’re human.

Life happens.
Bodies change.
Motivation comes and goes.

Sometimes what we really need isn’t a push, it’s a reset. And that’s okay.

Small steps still count.
One workout still matters.
Consistency isn’t about intensity. It’s about returning.

One of the simplest tools I use (and recommend):
📸 Take daily progress pictures.
Not for comparison.
Not for perfection.
But for proof that you’re showing up, even on the hard days. Even on the cold days! If you’ve got days….show up!!!! Be grateful!!!

Big gains are built quietly. 🤫

If today is your restart… do it.
You’re not behind. You’re getting ahead. 👊

We just show up with her!

Cold mornings. Dark parking lots. Alarms that feel like the police banging on your door 👮‍♀️. None of that gets a vote from me!! Consistency wins, every 👏 single 👏 time 👏

No waiting to “FEEL ready.”
No crawling back under the covers.
No more excuses! 🚫

And having a ride-or-die gym supporter to hang with you and your goals is a game changer. The kind of cheerleader who doesn’t blink at early mornings and just says, “Git cho a$$ up!!! 😂 That’s accountability at its BEST! Thank you Jeff Epps for being mine!

It’s about habits that are built when it’s uncomfortable.

So if you’re reading this from a warm bed, consider this your sign.
Get up. Get moving.

Workout done before excuses even woke up.

If you think early workouts are impossible, you’re not alone, I hear it daily. But sometimes the only way it happens is when you stop waiting for the perfect window and take the one you’ve got.

Get it in…..when you can!! 💪🏽

Nothing fancy. No influencer label. No outrageous price tag! Just nutrients that do their job.
And trust me, I can feel it when I skip a day.

Before you jump on supplements, check with your doctor. Vitamins aren’t a free-for-all, and your body will tell on you if something isn’t right. Listen to it.

Give vitamins a shot! 😉

Hubby and I had a deep conversation this AM that really got me thinking:

Dropping weight isn’t just about the physical weight, it’s about your mental and emotional too.

Just like we shed physical pounds to feel lighter, healthier, and stronger, we also need to shed emotional and mental weight. These are the relationships and energy drains that leave us exhausted, distracted, and unavailable for the life, families, etc. that we want.

If a relationship drains your energy or keeps you from being FULLY present, it has served its time. Don’t go back.

This includes:
• People who call every day just to unload. There is someone who actually gets paid to listen to your problems.
• People who only take and never pour back. This one speaks for itself.
• People who hint, manipulate, or “soft ask” for money—pay attention.

Your energy is precious. Protect it. Release what weighs you down. Feel lighter. Feel free. Focus on YOU!

Pay attention to how you spend your time and energy. It’s just as important as how you spend your money or take care of your body. Protect your energy. Release what weighs you down. Feel lighter. Feel free.

I am incredibly proud of the .

Even during the holiday break, the notifications kept coming, workouts completed, goals honored, commitments kept. That tells me everything I need to know about this group.

This isn’t about motivation. It’s about habits.
And habits create a lifetime of health, strength, and confidence.

I see the discipline. I see the consistency. And I’m excited about what’s ahead for every single one of you. Keep building.

I weigh the same in both pics. Difference is that the body on the left, is 120 pounds and 25% body fat. That’s 30 pounds of fat! The picture on the right is 120 pounds and 12% body fat! That’s 14 pounds of fat. I was on a hamster wheel of quick fad diets that ate away my most precious body tissue! My muscle! When you know better…DO better! I feed my body now wirh no fad diets; no quick fixes! Just hard work!

Shortcut weight loss isn’t what you think.

Women 40–50+: pounds drop, but 25–40% is muscle, not fat. Stubborn back-of-arm flab stays. Metabolism slows. Strength drops.

Real results = fat loss + muscle preservation. Lift. Move. Eat protein. Track body composition, not just the scale.

Your future self will thank you.

Tonight, I was in the store, and there they were: CHEESE BALLS. 😱🧀
I stood there for a second, tempted. I could’ve grabbed the little tub and eaten the whole thing in minutes. Not impossible for me to do! 🤦🏽‍♀️

But tonight? I was strong! I reminded myself of my goals and walked right past them like the craving didnt exist.

Just because I’m a fitness professional doesn’t mean I’m immune to cravings. Then there are moments where I cave. But tonight, I chose my goals. My goals won.
