From Pain to Purpose: A Safe Space for Women Who Carry It All

This event is for women who’ve been through it and still get up and go to work, care for others, hold it together, and smile like they’re not carrying the weight of grief, addiction, reentry, or survival.

From Pain to Purpose is a space to breathe. To talk about the things we usually keep quiet about. To learn from, connect with, and pour into one another.

You’ll hear from the keynote speakers, guest speakers, women who’ve survived reentry, addiction in their families, deep loss, and real life trauma and turned it into strength.

We’re talking:
• Real conversations (not trauma dumps)
• Overdose prevention and Narcan training
• Moms, mentors, businesswomen, advocates, and sisters sharing tools that save lives
• Vendors, giveaways, and serious networking

Still looking for a few vendors who align with healing, purpose, or empowerment.

No Longer in Silence: From Pain to Purpose
📅 August 23 | The Diamond Venue | Fayetteville, NC
Presented by She Rises Recovery & Wellness (She Rises)

This isn’t just a recovery event.
This is a room full of women from all walks of life, women who’ve been through it, and women who made it out and came back to pour into someone else.

You’ll hear real stories about addiction, reentry, grief, and healing. But you’ll also meet business owners, therapists, bosses, mentors, and coaches, showing you what’s possible and helping you get there.

Because healing shouldn’t feel lonely. And purpose doesn’t have to wait.

There will be food, drinks, and real conversation. A Narcan education session to help you save a life. And a few women will be chosen to receive direct support to launch their next step.

Vendor spaces are available.

People are carrying things you’ll never see.
A quiet struggle in their body. A heartbreak they never saw coming.
A loss that still hurts with words they never got to say.
Some are waking up every day in a body that aches and a mind that’s tired,
but they keep going… because their kids are counting on them.
Some are doing it all alone no help, no rest, no space to fall apart.
And some are holding pain so silently, even the closest ones don’t know.

If that’s you…
I pray God meets you right there in the moments you keep to yourself,
in the ache you don’t have words for.
You are still His.
You are still worthy.
And He’s still working.

Life After Addiction is designed for women who have survived addiction, trauma, reentry, grief, or are parenting children struggling with addiction. This space is not for trauma dumping but for sharing true stories of encouragement, resilience, and uplifting one another.

Participants will receive overdose education and Narcan training, free Narcan and fentanyl/xylazine test strips, and opportunities to connect with women owned businesses and recovery resources.
