I’m excited to be facilitating a 6-week Daniel Plan class at ONE Church in Peachtree City, starting Sunday, February 1st at 11:00am. We’ll be walking through the Daniel Plan video series by Rick Warren alongside The Daniel Plan: 40 Days to a Healthier Life.

This is a great opportunity to grow in faith, health, and community—and to learn practical, biblical principles for caring for your body.

One of the most supportive things you can do is protect your mindset.

Try this to the the EAGLES in the storm:
🧠 Limit news and weather updates to specific check-in times
🫁 Take a few slow, deep breaths throughout the day
📖 Choose calming activities—reading, journaling, prayer, or music
🙏 Focus on what is within your control: warmth, nourishment, rest

Winter storm prep isn’t just about bread and milk — it’s about planning to take care of you too. ❄️❄️

You don’t need anything fancy. Just a little intention goes a long way in supporting your immune system, digestion, and overall resilience during a storm.

Here are three winter storm wellness tips, made simple:
🥣 Make ahead a cozy, nourishing soup or stews that can be easily heated on a gas stove or grill.
💧 Start now drinking water and continue throughout the storm (dry winter air + heaters sneak up on hydration fast)
🚶‍♀️ Look up a indoor movement routine and save it on your phone for easy access — stretching, walking the house, or a few mobility exercises will keep joints happy and energy flowing.

Take a deep breath, stay warm, and care for your body during this storm. 💛

I established Deep Health Consulting in late 2015 to help women who have put their families and responsibilities first for so long, it has taken a toll on their own health and happiness. I support them as they recover from health concerns related to neglect, stress and hormone imbalance. As a health coach, I offer education, goal setting, accountability and, most importantly, encouragement! Throughout the program, My clients are applauded for taking small, steady steps to gradual, long-term transformation.
