Please Welcome our newest clinician, Sarah Pugliese, LCMHCA. Sarah specializes in compassionate, professional soul care! Sarah uses a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to therapy, guided by a Solution-Focused lens, while incorporating elements of Somatic Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Sarah also has experience with Narrative and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and tailors each approach to best fit the specific client, as she believes everyone’s story and life journey are unique.

Sarah shared she has years of personal experience that fuel her passion for supporting individuals experiencing emotional distress, and has a heart for those struggling with mental illness, addiction, and individuals who have experienced trauma. Sarah is also passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults, and senior citizens to find hope and encouragement during challenging seasons.

Sarah is an avid reader and enjoys spending her free time researching, writing, painting, and traveling. Sarah shared she is a Christian woman and incorporates faith into her clients’ sessions only upon the client’s request, as she respects the identity of all individuals and believes in coming alongside each client to meet them where they are.

Please welcome our newest clinician, Britt Kartes, LCMHCA. Britt (they/them) supports adolescents and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, and life transitions. Britt specializes in working with LGBTQ+ clients to provide affirming care that honors your identities, relationships, and lived experiences, including the impact of navigating a world that is not always welcoming to q***r and gender-diverse people.

They are also fluent in American Sign Language and have experience supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients, as well as individuals with multiple marginalized identities!

Britt comes from a military family and is familiar with the cultural nuances, transitions, and stressors that can impact service members and their loved ones. They offer supportive, trauma-informed care to military-connected individuals and families, with an understanding of how military life can intersect with identity, relationships, and mental health.

Britt is an excellent addition to our practice!
