📚 Native American Heritage Month Spotlight

Our students wrapped up their research projects this week with presentations on different Native American tribes — and they did an amazing job! From culture and traditions to history and regional differences, each group shared what they learned in unique and creative ways!

We’re so proud of the hard work they put into honoring and understanding the rich heritage of Native American communities. ❤️✨

Our residents had an unforgettable time at the circus last night! 🎪✨
It was the perfect opportunity for them to practice the skills they’ve been learning in treatment—like staying present, managing big emotions, and supporting one another in new environments.

We love seeing them grow, explore, and celebrate these moments!

Our Annual Chili Cook-Off was full of flavor, fun, and a few bragging rights! 🌶️ Congratulations to our winners and a big shoutout to everyone who stirred up some delicious chili. We can’t wait to do it again next year!

It might be cold out, but nothing says fall like some football!! 🏈🍂

Our good friends from Little Creek joined us today for a game of flag football. Our residents practiced sportsmanship — cheering each other on, working through challenges, and celebrating every effort. These moments build confidence and support the progress they’re making in treatment every day. Go Wildcats!!!!

We’re still thinking about how much fun Friday was! 🎃🧡

Our Halloween Bash was a huge success — from Mr. Justin, our CEO, grilling some delicious food for everyone, to the delicious caramel & candy apples made by our amazing Dietary team, to the "neighborhood" that was created for our residents to trick or treat in! We also had pumpkin judging, crafts, and so much more!!!

Thank you to our RT department for putting the event together, the Education department for being all in all day to help work stations, & to all the other departments that took time out of their busy day to help make the day full of laughter, creativity, and community spirit! We’re already looking forward to next year! 👻✨

Here at Ridgeview, we love Halloween and going all out for our incredible young men to get to be goofy and be kids. They have been to a Trunk or Treat every day this week!! Yesterday they got to have "brains and mummies" for breakfast with pizza and treats for dinner and then they went off to trick or treat all the way to candy town!
