Since our candles are made with a 100% natural soy wax blend, they burn slower, cleaner, and last longer than some typical commercial candle brands. Plus, the wooden wick makes a great comforting addition to your space.

During burn testing our 9 ounce candles burned over 50 hours. Some even burning up to 70 hours! However, we state 50+ hours since all candles burned at least that amount of time.

If the fragrance you want sells out, please do not worry. They will be restocked but making a limited number available gives me an opportunity to fulfill orders in a timely manner.

We are busy packing away some freshly poured candles for our soft launch officially happening on October 1st!

We started with many on hand, but our friends and family love these candles so much that they are flying off the shelves!

Several more were poured yesterday and will be packed and ready for shipping. Please remember that these candles are made in small batches and the labels, and all packing inserts are made by hand. Please allow 2-4 weeks for fulfillment. Of course, if we have them already poured, we will ship them quickly! More information will be available for you once the website is launched on October 1st.

A Wraith Beneath the Tides by

These candles were inspired by one of my favorite recent reads and made for the author of the book. The inspiration came from the two main characters, Esmyra and Draevyn.

Adventurous Wick will be offering small batch candle customization in near future so stay tuned!

Hello! My name is Jess. I am nestled in the Ozark Mountain range located in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

I founded Adventurous Wick Candle Co. because candles have always held a special place in my heart. One of my very first jobs was at a candle lab, and to this day, it remains one of my all-time favorite experiences. Although I left that job to pursue a career in nursing, I never stopped dreaming about creating my own candles. The memory of that joy has stayed with me, inspiring me to finally bring this passion to life.

I’ve always believed in the power of scent—how it can calm, uplift, and transform a space. Aromatherapy has been a huge part of my life, and I love how fragrance sets the perfect mood and ambiance for any moment.

Outside of candles, I’m an adventurer at heart. I love to travel, explore new places, and dive into the adventures that books take me on. Those journeys—both real and imagined—are what inspired the name of my company.

Every candle I create is crafted with intention, and I only make scents I truly love—ones I’d happily burn in my own home. I believe a fragrance should feel like curling up with a good book, or wandering off on an adventure without ever leaving. My hope is that each candle you light brings warmth, comfort, and a little bit of adventure into your life.
