John Charles Williams

John Charles Williams, age 72, of Nallen, WV and husband of Angela Susan Williams passed away May 12, 2026 at CAMC-Memorial.

Born in Oak Hill, WV, he was a son of the late Clarence Jackson Williams and Julia Louise Hall. He was a retired long haul truck driver for Columbia Forest Products and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

In addition to his wife of 45 years, survivors also include four children: Joyce Williams, Barbara Valey, Barbara Dawn Morris, and Robert Morris; six grandchildren: Brandon Valey, Eric (Mary Ellen) Buckland, Dustyn (Tamara) Buckland, Isaac Tomlin, Spencer Tomlin, and Willow Tomlin; eight great-grandchildren: Gracie Valey, Carson Valey, Serenity Valey, Addison Buckland, Zoey Buckland, Eli Buckland, Konner Buckland, and Karliah Buckland; two sisters: Carolyn Williams and Mary (David) Dixon; one brother James (Rose) Williams. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by one brother, David Williams. Survivors also include multiple nieces and nephews: Kyle Colon, Landon Ellison, James Taylor, Dale Hendricks, Cinnamon Hendricks, David Williams, Jr., Cynthia Huckaby, Angela Lew, Brian Blackwell, Sheri Lee Tindell, and Jacob Navicki.

Graveside services with Military Honors for John Williams will be conducted at the Hall Family Cemetery (adjacent to Pleasant View Cemetery, Fayetteville, WV) Tuesday May 26 at 11:00 am.

James Dale McGraw

Mr. James Dale McGraw, age 90, of Fayetteville passed away May 4, 2026 at CAMC-Memorial.

Born in Ansted, WV , he was a son of the late .William James McGraw and Dessie Bragg McGraw.

Dale retired from Alloy metals and was a member and past commander of American Legion Post 149. He was also a member of the Knights of Pythias since 1953. In addition, Dale served his country as a member of the Army National Guard for 21 years.

Survivors include two stepsons, John Richard(Kathy) Williams of Mt. Olive, NC and Robert Williams of Charleston, WV; one son, Ed Shuff of Oak Hill, WV; one grandson, Michael Shannon Williams of Raleigh, NC; and a great-granddaughter, Stella Williams. In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded by his beloved wife of 50 years, Minnie Dileonardo McGraw and a brother, Kyle McGraw. The family would also like to express their appreciation to Brenda Sexton who for several years was Dale's housekeeper and special friend.

Funeral services for Dale McGraw will be conducted Monday May 11, 2026 at 11:00 am in the chapel of New River Gorge Funeral Service, 350 W. Maple Ave., Fayetteville by Pastor Justin Seay. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.
