Important Update!!!
We do not send out marketing texts, and very rarely do we send out emails. Please understand that this situation should be the only exception. This vital information affects all clients whether they are past, present, or future!
Moving Day Information
I have some news. As most of you have heard, Dr. Nathan has chosen to merge practices with another local Chiropractic office. The new doctor offered me a position with them, but it was heavily laced with stipulations. This would have meant:
*My husband and I would have to dissolve our massage business, which we have owned for 10 years in two states. I would become an independent contractor under this new practice, no longer a business owner.
*I would have to abide by their set pricing, which can be up to $30 more than I charge for my services. I would not be allowed to offer discounts for first responders, veterans, military personnel, their spouses, or seniors, which I have provided to the local community for 10 years.
*My hours would be significantly reduced. I would only be permitted to work in the afternoons.
*I would be sharing a single massage room with several other therapists, and my modalities would be limited as well.
*I would be forced to remove all products I make in-house.
For these reasons, I cannot ethically or in good conscience move on with Dr. Nathan to this other office. As of October 30, 2025, I will no longer be at the Horan Dr. location.
What does this mean? While this news was sudden and unexpected for me, we now have a path forward. I have had many interviews, several offers, and we have even looked into having our own place. While this process takes time, we are sure that a professional and supportive environment will be chosen for our clients and for us. There will be an update of our new location within the next week or two!
In addition to this path forward, my new location will honor all packages, pricing, discounts, services, and gift certificates for our current clients. And a bonus exciting announcement! Deanna will be joining the team and will be available to take massage appointments soon! That means there will be TWO massage therapists at our new location!! New modalities and services will be available when we move, and a fresh look for our storefront will be ready with the most beautiful products I have seen in a while.
I am sure this is a shock to many of you. Please be patient with us as we transition into everything new. Your support, kindness, and empathy have always helped keep us strong.
What can you do? Small businesses thrive on Google reviews, referrals and word-of-mouth discussions. Keep us in your thoughts, and spread the word. Don’t forget, you have a referral program that offers a free massage for every three new clients who make and keep their appointments!
