Two key factors that determine if you’re a good candidate for chin filler👇🏽

1️⃣ The lower third of your face is shorter than the middle and top thirds. Ideally, all three sections should be in proportion.
2️⃣ Your nose, lips, and chin don’t align in profile. When they do, it creates a more balanced, proportional look

People think botox will make them look younger and sure it smooths out wrinkles, but another part of the aging process is losing volume in your fat pads and bone resorption.

This patient and her twin sister came in after following us for years. They were interested in botox and a full face assessment.

After an assessment, it was clear neither of them needed a lot! We did preventative botox and midface filler.

Pay close attention to the orbital roll under her eyes. This muscle strengthens the more we smile and use our obicularis oculi muscle. One unit of tox can greatly soften it and doesn’t hurt any worse than tox in other areas!

This is what I mean when I say “you can get lip filler IF, and ONLY IF, the rest of your face is balanced so you don’t look weird and unnatural.”

This patient is young enough that she has yet to lose volume so when she said she wanted some hydration to her lips, I told her sure as long as she added a little filler in her chin.

If I would have only done lip filler and not her chin, her chin would look more recessed and her lips would appear duck-like.

Lower face rejuvenation✨

Here’s how I approached her consult👉🏽 We discussed globally treating her with Sculptra and that the results take about 6 months so it’s a long game. We then discussed filler in the lower face since she’s not an undereye filler candidate. She agreed she wanted more of an instant result.

1 syringe of filler could have given her an okay result, 2 syringes could have given her a good result, but ultimately, 3 syringes was what she needed to have the best result. We also added tox to relax muscles that were causing these lines and prevent future lines.
