2026 syrup season has come to an end.

on a dreary, damp Saturday, we washed all of our pails and lids, our cooker, and the shack. a bit of elbow grease and time and we got everything cleaned up. we even enlisted our youngest workers to scrub out one of our bulk tanks!

even though our season is over, we have syrup available, both bourbon and regular. let us know when you are almost out and we can make sure to keep you stocked!

2026 collecting has come to an end. we pulled all of our taps yesterday as the trees have decided they’re done. weekends like this show us that many hands make light work!

but don’t worry, you’ll still see more from us - we have plenty of work yet to do. from cooking, bottling, and cleaning, we have a good amount of time left to put in.

things have been going really well this year. rough estimates say we have around 140 gallons of finished syrup (so far) making this our best year EVER!
sap math says that on average, it’s 40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup - but that all changes based on the sugar content of the sap.

today was spent bottling since the sap wasn’t running much; all ages were helping out!

we collected most of our buckets and dropped them all in tanks in hopes the blocks thaw out soon, so we can keep cooking down sap!
we were stalled for a couple days with it being so cold, but we are back at it again this weekend. hopefully the weather cooperates and gives us better conditions🤞

as always we had to have a little fun while collecting, so stay tuned for those videos👀
