From client relationships to the kerning between characters in a typographic element, strength comes from relationships that work and communicate well. I Volunteer. A graduate of Purdue University in Visual Communication Design, I served 7 years as a volunteer and past board member of the Indianapolis Chapter of AIGA, the professional association for graphic design. I have turned my spare time towards helping fledgling community businesses plan a launch campaign or get a rapid start to marketing and social media that they didn't realize they needed. My focus is creative design solutions that meet clients' needs as well as their budgets. And I'm a friendly, happy person to work with. My freelance company, Hold The Cheese, has been consulting and designing for marketing departments, university student groups, non profits, independent small businesses, school corporations, healthcare systems, financial institutions, restaurants, bands, and bridal clients since 2005 with lots of happy customers.

Exploring different styles of family portrait illustration. This was the rough and accurate one that looked awesome printed! Hand lettered family name signs are also in the exploratory stage! Should I offer these for the holidays?

What's a great feel-good alternative?
-Try baking a few dozen cookies or making a seasonal decoration to share with neighbors or friends as a surprise and encouraging them to pay it forward?
- Send a non-holiday card hand written note to someone you miss
- Pool some group funds together to buy food for a food bank or treat some first responders to a delicious hot meal
- Do a secret Santa with recipients assigned so everyone gets the same number/value of items
