Offer open to all VCS members, staff, and vendors, and it's a great way to pass some time if your waiting to see the doctor today. Special discounts available for anyone who books a mobile massage appointment in person after enjoying they're free massage (that includes scheduling a session for someone else as a gift as well).

Chair Massage is great to help alleviate a number of minor aches or pains in the neck, shoulders, arms, and upper back with some limitations around the lower back, hips, and legs. Utilizing a massage table for a mobile massage session allows for a more comprehensive treatment of the body as well as providing a greater sense of relaxation. Interested in a nice relaxing spa day a home? Swedish Massage is a wonderful choice and you can choose to really melt away with a Myofascial Release, Cupping or Reflexology add-on to your session. If deep tissue is more you're preference I'd be happy to help as well, some extent of Swedish Massage is required to warm up targeted locations (chronic pain, sore muscles, ect.) and to relax after deep tissue work otherwise any pain experienced for the purpose of relief may he for naught. Last week while at Vehicle City Social offering free massage to all members I was presented with this thought from a client after helping them gain about 15° of shoulder abduction (raise your arms from the sides up) in only the free 5 minutes offered to everyone who comes in to say hi and sign up. They were 1 of about 5 people I helped with a sore shoulder or stiff neck from either an old injury or recent tension (like working too hard or sleeping uncomfortably)

All members get 5 minutes FREE and if you have more tension or simply desire more relaxation it's only $1/min to extend the session up to 20 minutes. (Chair massage has some limitations compared to techniques applied on a massage table but is still suitable for both spa/relaxation styled massage or therapeutic/clinical styled massage). I'll be at VCS offering chair massage every Friday in May and have openings during the week for mobile massage appointments if Friday doesn't fit your schedule or if up to 20 minutes of chair massage might not meet you needs. With mobile massage I bring the massage table and supplies to our appointment at a location of your choice (within Flint or surrounding areas) for 30/60/90 minutes utilizing either relaxation/spa techniques like swedish massage and spa reflexology to relieve minor to mild muscle tension, or more therapeutic/deep tissue techniques like myofascial release, trigger point therapy and INIT (Integrated Neuromuscular Ischemic Technique) to target deep tension or chronic muscle pain.
