Learning Dreams, LLC is unique in its inception, just like its founder and owner. Kori E Carson-Dean understands the personal struggles of a learning different student, for she is dyslexic herself. In efforts to master her own learning difference, Ms. Carson-Dean received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College, a Master of Education in Educational Psychology from Miami University of
Ohio, an Educational Specialist degree from Saginaw Valley State University, a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Michigan , and a Specialist in School Psychology from Eastern Washington University. She also holds a K-12 Learning Disabilities teaching certificate in the State of Michigan, school psychologist certificate in the States of Michigan, Washington, Alabama, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. Furthermore, she holds a Montessori diploma, a teacher consultant and special education administrative approvals, as well as an administrator certification and limited licensed psychologist credentials in the State of Michigan. Carson-Dean has taught all age groups, from preschool to graduate school. She has been a tutor, teacher, teacher consultant, principal, special education administrator, trainer, columnist, school psychologist, school neuropsychologist, educational advocate, fellow parent of children with learning differences, and limited licensed psychologist. Kori has assembled a team of certified educators and licensed professionals to deliver innovative educational, psychological, and medical services to assist children and adults in learning more effectively and successfully. Kori has developed a tough skin and good sense of humor about her inability to spell and snail like reading. Despite the many hurdles she has overcome, Caron-Dean has successfully find a way to navigate through life even with a learning difference.
