Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Florence, AL is a 222 bed skilled nursing facility that proudly serves the greater North Alabama and Southern Tennessee area since 1952. With well over 50 years of service, we have cultivated a reputation of respect and trust while delivering compassionate skilled nursing for long term care and short term stays. In addition to 24 hour nursing care, we strive to give quality, individualized care that is focused on helping our residents live a full and happy life. We provide daily activities to encourage social, physical, and mental enrichment. For short term stays and rehabilitation services, visit The Summit at Mitchell-Hollingsworth. From admission, we offer comprehensive care designed to shorten your post-hospital recovery and improve your ability to return home in a safe and timely manner. Our services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and medical rehabilitation. You may benefit from our services if you are recovering from: orthopedic injuries (including joint replacement and amputation), cardiac recovery, stroke and neurological recovery, chronic disease management, wound care, and pulmonary issues.
