The most underrated thing you can do for your life is take care of your seniors.
This weekend, I was at an art museum (one of my favorite ways to recharge).
Art reminds me that perspective is everything and the same is true in caregiving.
I grew up as an Air Force military brat in Alabama.
Discipline and service are woven into my DNA.
By 12,
I was working at a family-owned print shop where I first glimpsed the magic (and grit) of small business ownership.
I dreamed of entrepreneurship.
But, in my family, education was non-negotiable.
So, I went all in:
🎓 Bachelor of Nursing
🎓 Master of Nursing Case Management
🎓 Master of Health Promotion & Disease Prevention
🎓 Doctor of Nursing – Administration
On paper, I had the “perfect formula” for success.
But real life taught me something different: degrees don’t guarantee prosperity, clarity, fulfillment, or freedom.
I married, co-ran businesses, lost my husband, and eventually closed those chapters.
Then, life pressed pause.
In 2019 during the pandemic shutdown,
I wrote "Seasons of My Grief" book and leaned into consulting.
But my most important role?
Being the primary caregiver for my mom and other loved ones.
I became the family’s natural “go-to” for all things healthcare.
That lived experience, blending professional nursing with hands-on caregiving, shaped what I do today.
I guide families with practical steps, frameworks, and support
So, they don’t have to walk this road alone.
So, they can take care of themselves and their loved ones in the most effective way.
💡 You can save massive amounts of money and time with the right care plan and guidance.
If you’re a caregiver balancing “all the things”, work, family, parents, and your own health —
I see you.
You don’t have to carry it alone.
