Preparing for Medicaid Work Requirements
Changes to Medicaid “work requirements” — now called community engagement — could put thousands of people at risk of losing coverage, especially those experiencing homelessness or housing instability.

H.R.1 introduces new eligibility rules and administrative hurdles that states must implement, creating real risk that many people could be pushed off Medicaid entirely.

In Health Systems Integration at CSH's - latest blog, they break down the critical decisions states face in the months ahead:
• Who must report — and who is exempt
• What counts as community engagement
• When requirements begin
• How states will track compliance

Most importantly, they outline concrete steps agencies likes BEDS Plus can take now to help people keep their Medicaid coverage.
