Cancer Can Suck It

Cancer Can Suck It Friends and family supporting David Parker and his battle against cancer. David decided, immediately, that he would take this head on and beat it.

In March 2017, David Parker was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer after a routine colonoscopy. At the age of 52, this beloved father of 5 and husband of 23 years was told that he would need to prepare for the battle of his life. In his words, "I've got a lot more living to do so cancer can suck it!". This page is dedicated to the friends and family who choose to stand beside David during this battle. While he is otherwise healthy and very strong, he needs an army to support him and his family during the fight of his life. First and foremost, the family is in need of financial assistance. This battle requires a lot of time off of work and travel for both David and Trisha. There are countless medical bills and co-pays piling up, and he hasn't even started active treatment. Their insurance companies are already trying to deny paying for aggressive treatment, even though that is what it will take for him to beat this. If you can, please contribute to the fundraising activities on this page. 100% of your donation will go directly to David and his family. Additionally, the family needs to hear words of encouragement. Friends, family, strangers, they love to hear from you all. So, share your stories, send your best wishes, let them know you are praying. All of it means so much right now. Going through this battle is very isolating and any/all positive sentiments are appreciated. The family loves knowing they are not alone. Please share this page with your family and friends. The more support, the better; there is no such thing as too many prayers!

Our Story

September 2018, David went in for a check up and scan after temporarily defeating cancer with many surgeries, He now will battle a large sized lymphnode that is inoperable at this time, still growing and considered terminal. He was told there is only a 5% chance to beat this again, but David is willing to take on those odds, even if it is only to extend life expectancy while awaiting new procedures that may allow him to defeat this monster. This page is dedicated to the friends and family who choose to stand beside David during this battle. While he is otherwise healthy and very strong, he needs an army to support him and his family during the fight of his life. First and foremost, the family will be and is in need of financial assistance. This battle requires a lot of time off of work and travel for both David and Trisha. There are countless medical bills currently and co-pays that will pile up after the first of the year, and he hasn't even started active treatment for the 2nd time just yet.
