To my dear patients,
It is with mixed emotions that I announce the closing of Davoodi Family Medicine on September 3rd, 2025. Caring for you, my patients. has been the most rewarding part of my career. Over the last 2 years we have interviewed many physicians to take over the practice but have not been able to find a suitable candidate that I would trust to continue my practice.
I have come to know many of you as friends, and I have been honored that many families have asked me to care for as many as 5 generations.
I started medical school at the age of 19 in 1982. I have seen many changes and advances along the way which has been rewarding and have fulfilled my childhood aspiration of being a family doctor.
One of the many blessings of practicing in the Flower Mound area has been the colleagues that I trust and have trusted with my own life and my patient’s lives. This unique setting has been truly wonderful.
There are many competent physicians in the area accepting new patients. We will try to make refills of non-controlled medication available for 90 days to help with the transition.
It has been a great pleasure providing for your health care needs over the last 33 years. I have been very lucky to have worked with some of the most dedicated and loyal staff. Esther, Jamie, Marie, and Cyndi to name a few, also Tiffany Fowler, my PA, who has been a great asset to this practice over the years.
I will miss them and you all, but Margie and I are excited about our move to Colorado where I wish to concentrate more on sleep medicine. spend more time with some of our children and grandchildren and hike the many mountains.
Your medical records will be available to transfer to your new P*P with a signed release. Once the office closes, your records will be available at Bridlewood Family Medicine (972-899-6300) where you are welcome to make appointments or to have the records transferred.
With Love and Gratitude,
Fariborz Alan Davoodi, MD
