You’re driving down the city , stop light to stop light.you come to a red light and see a man on a bicycle. The light turns green. You step on it and speed to the next light. The cyclist takes off. And is half way to the light when you hit the next light and it’s red. As you wait the cyclist catches up. And passes you on the cycle lane ,While you wait for the light to turn green. This goes on for about 12 blocks. And you both meet at the same time at the end of the road.Just because you think what you’re doing is faster, some one could technically be doing the same thing in another manner. Who’s to say what’s faster. And who’s doing it correctly? Just because people have different outlook on things. Doesn’t mean the outcome Hass to be different. And people don’t have the same outcome. Just different thought processes.

Exercise can help with anxiety in several ways:

1. **Release of Endorphins**: Exercise triggers the release of endorphins, which are neurotransmitters in the brain that act as natural painkillers and mood elevators. Endorphins can induce feelings of happiness and relaxation, counteracting the negative effects of anxiety.

2. **Reduction of Stress Hormones**: Physical activity can decrease the production of stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline. Lower levels of these hormones contribute to a calmer state of mind and reduced feelings of anxiety.

3. **Distraction and Focus**: Engaging in exercise provides a distraction from anxious thoughts and worries, as it requires focus on the present moment and the physical activity at hand. This shift in focus can help break the cycle of rumination and alleviate anxiety symptoms.

4. **Improvement in Sleep**: Regular exercise can promote better sleep quality and duration, which is important for overall mental health and resilience against stress and anxiety. Adequate sleep can help regulate mood and reduce susceptibility to anxiety.

5. **Enhancement of Self-Esteem**: Achieving fitness goals and experiencing improvements in physical health through exercise can boost self-esteem and self-confidence. A positive self-image can contribute to a more resilient mindset and decreased susceptibility to anxiety.

6. **Social Interaction**: Participating in group exercise classes, team sports, or outdoor activities can provide opportunities for social interaction and connection with others. Social support is known to be beneficial for mental health and can help alleviate feelings of loneliness and anxiety.

7. **Mind-Body Connection**: Certain types of exercise, such as yoga and tai chi, emphasize the connection between the mind and body through breath awareness, mindfulness, and gentle movements. These practices promote relaxation, stress reduction, and emotional balance, which can help manage anxiety symptoms.

Overall, incorporating regular exercise into your routine can be a valuable tool for managing anxiety and promoting overall well-being. It's essential to find physical activities that you enjoy and can sustain over time to reap the maximum benefits for your mental health.
