Whether you choose to treat something with Western medicine, holistic medicine, or a combination of both, having as much information as possible is key to effective treatment. I've seen patients delay seeking a cancer diagnosis due to fear or a preference for natural treatments. However, the sooner we have specific details about a diagnosis, the more effective any treatment is likely to be. Different types of cancer respond to different therapies, both from a conventional and holistic perspective. It's essential to get a proper diagnosis first, so you can make an informed decision about the best course of action.

I recently came across a post where a mom was asking how to monitor her blood glucose for a week because she didn’t want to drink the glucose tolerance solution (I didn’t drink it either). What was alarming were the number of comments telling her she didn’t need to test at all. Gestational diabetes is not made up—it's a serious condition. There is NO downside to pricking your finger for a week to monitor your levels. Get a diagnosis and then decide how you want to treat it. Knowledge is power. No matter what condition you have, KNOWING the full story is always going to give you better treatment options.

Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) is a therapeutic approach aimed at resolving stress-related physical and mental conditions by addressing their physiological roots. It focuses on how emotional responses, stored as physiological imprints (Neuro Emotional Complexes or NECs), affect the body and mind. NET helps in healing by tracing these imprints to their physical locations and working on them.

Key benefits of NET include:

- Relief from unexplained physical discomforts and stress-related issues like headaches, anxiety, and body pain.
- Psycho-emotional improvements such as better relationships, reduced stress, and resolution of limiting beliefs.

During a NET session, we use muscle testing to identify and link stressors to specific emotions and their physical manifestations. By pinpointing these connections and addressing them, NET helps patients release stuck emotions and heal from long-term stressors.

Welcome to TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) Tip Tuesday! 🥳
Here’s how you can incorporate ginger into your routine:

Ginger Tea: A warming cup of ginger tea is perfect for enhancing digestion and combating nausea. It’s also a great ally when you’re feeling under the weather. Ginger tea can help induce sweating, which TCM believes aids in breaking a fever and cooling the body from the inside out. Just steep fresh ginger slices in hot water, and you’ve got a soothing drink that supports your immune system and helps you recover faster!

Added to food: Add ginger to your stir-fries, soups, and even smoothies. TCM teaches us that ginger helps balance digestive energy and can soothe an upset stomach. Plus, it’s a fantastic way to add flavor and warmth to your dishes.

Ginger Compress: For sore muscles or cold limbs, try a ginger compress. Simply grate some fresh ginger, mix it with hot water, and apply it to the affected area for a natural remedy that helps improve circulation and alleviate discomfort.

Daily Dose: Incorporate ginger into your daily diet in small amounts. It harmonize the stomach and strengthen your digestion, making it a great choice for maintaining overall well-being.
