Rise Above: Women’s Wellness – Summer Sessions ☀️

More movement. More connection. More time in the ocean. 🌊

This isn’t about being “good” at anything.
It’s about showing up, getting in your body, and being around other women who get it.

As the weather warms up, so do we. ☀️🌊 🏄🏼‍♀️

We are Waves 4 Women—
a community rooted in connection, courage, and the belief that every woman deserves a place to belong.

Out here, it’s not about being the best surfer.
It’s about showing up… exactly as you are.

It’s about:
🧡 finding calm in the chaos
🩵 building confidence one small wave at a time
🧡 reconnecting to your body, your breath, and each other
🩵 remembering that you’re not alone

We serve women and girls of all backgrounds—especially those navigating life’s challenges, transitions, and uncertainties—by creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and empowering.

We are so excited to welcome Jennifer Hamrock as our new Surf Director at Waves 4 Women 🌊

Jennifer’s love for the ocean runs deep—surfing, art, and teaching have long been sources of joy, curiosity, and inspiration in her life. And if you know Jennifer, you know this: she doesn’t just experience those things… she shares them in a way that fills everyone around her.

Many of you may already recognize her from co-leading our Rise Above surf-conditioning and wellness program or from her time volunteering with W4W. She has already been such a meaningful part of our community—bringing warmth, presence, and a genuine love for what we do.

Jennifer describes sharing these passions with others as a “cup that is most definitely full”—and we feel that. Because when she shows up, she helps others feel fuller too.

We are so grateful she’s stepping into this role and can’t wait for all that’s ahead with her leading our surf programming 💙🧡
