This is a video I made of a tarot reading I did for myself.
Backstory: My oldest is turning 16 so I am planning a surprise something (I can’t give details in case my daughter sees!). I am starting to become a bit obsessed with the task and the joy is being sucked out of it.
So I did a tarot reading asking, “How do I stop spiraling into obsession about Naomi’s birthday project and return to it being a joyful experience?
The cards represent:
1. The Obsession- What’s driving my spiral?
2. The Root- What is this really about?
3. The Shift- How do I return to balance?
4. The Joy- How I can reconnect with the heart of this project?
The insights that came through were exactly what I needed. They reminded me that love and intention are more important than perfection. Also, that this milestone is about celebrating her, not getting lost in the details.
I’m sharing this video to show how tarot can gently guide us back to center, even in the middle of everyday life.

Message of the day to whoever needs to hear it….

After a recent heartache or emotional trial, you may feel exposed, tender, and raw. The Moon card reminds us that in times of uncertainty, our fears and emotions can distort reality. Small challenges may cast large, looming shadows. This is a reminder to pause before reacting, and to be gentle with yourself.

You are in a period of transition, a threshold between what was and what is yet to come. While this may feel unfamiliar or unsettling, you’ve walked through change before, and you will again. Each transition shapes you in ways you can’t yet see. Trust that more will be revealed in time, and that clarity will come as the shadows give way to light.

When your Crocs fall apart, but your intuition stays strong…
This little lady was nervous about trying on a new pair of Crocs after her beloved old ones literally disintegrated from sheer love and use.
So, naturally… we pulled a tarot card.
She asked for reassurance about her new shoes and pulled the Queen of Wands.
Bold. Confident. Inspired. And absolutely ready to strut through the day like the radiant, creative queen she is ❤️
Sometimes, tarot is just about helping us feel brave in small moments, like picking out new shoes when your favorites are gone. 💛
