Can You Build a Tolerance to Prednisone? That's the question. I've asked my rheumatologist for years not to prescribe it to me. Only in urgent times I allow it. I get Gammagard/IVIG.... It's worked wonders! I hated the idea of the weight gain with Prednisone. I've seen what it's done to others and can lead to diabetes. This article is great info.
