**Location: Forest Hill, MD 21050**
**Type: Full-Time**
**Compensation**
$55,800/year + 20% ownership
(totalling up to $71,460/year for Forest Hill location)

**Position Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Teacher & Co-Owner to join our team at Made4U Learning. In this unique role, you will not only lead our classroom but also help shape the vision and operations of the preschool. This position is ideal for an individual who is committed to inclusive education and wants to be an integral part of a community-focused environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
🔸️Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of each child.
🔸️Foster a safe, warm, and engaging classroom atmosphere that supports learning and personal growth.
🔸️Collaborate with parents, specialists, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for each child.
🔸️Train, mentor, and supervise staff, promoting professional development and effective teaching strategies.
🔸️Participate in the day-to-day operations, including curriculum development, staff meetings, and administrative tasks.
🔸️Cultivate relationships with families and the community, ensuring an open line of communication and support.
🔸️Assist in the long-term strategic planning and growth of Made4U Learning, contributing to decision-making processes.
**Qualifications**
🔸️90-hour certification or a degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field.
🔸️Proven experience working with young children, particularly those with disabilities and diverse learning needs.
🔸️Strong leadership and organizational skills.
🔸️Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to advocating for children’s rights and needs.
🔸️Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
🔸️Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse set of individuals, including families, staff, and community members.
🔸️Familiarity with regulatory requirements for early childhood education and care.
