The Forest Hills Volunteer Fire Department is located just outside the City of Pittsburgh in Allegheny County, PA. It is a 100% Volunteer organization of over 30 highly trained and motivated individuals who pride themselves in keeping our community safe. We respond to roughly 400 calls a year, ranging from house fires, to vehicle accidents, or any situation where you require assistance, no matter

how minor it may seem. We also proudly provide mutual aid to our neighboring communities whenever requested.

This afternoon Forest Hills VFD, North Braddock VFD, Woodland Hills EMS, and Forest Hills Police responded to this vehicle accident which crashed into the construction area near Fairfax Rd. Crews extricated the patient from the vehicle and utilized a rope system to haul him up the hillside into the awaiting care of EMS.

Allegheny County Emergency Services honored Chief Robert Full by renaming the departments training room after him. Chief Full got his start in emergency services with the Forest Hills VFD and was a lifelong member of the department.
