Welcome to Central Virginia Family Physicians, where families are our specialty!

Collaborative Health provides quality, holistic, patient-centered care in Primary Care (CVFP Medical Group), Pediatrics and Young Adult Care, Sports Medicine, Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Manipulative Medicine, Behavioral Health and more. We serve our patients in seven regional primary care offices and two immediate care locations for walk-in non-emergency care. As specialists in the field of Family Medicine, we offer a comprehensive range of state-of-the-art medical care for the health and well-being of your entire family. Family Medicine is a unique specialty that is concerned with the family as a unit and with the interactions of family members as they may affect health. Family physicians are trained in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions in patients from birth through the senior years. This includes training in Pediatrics and Newborn Care, Internal Medicine, Gynecology, Geriatrics, Psychiatry, Minor Surgery, Orthopedics, and Community Medicine. Our goal is to provide outstanding health care that will meet and exceed your expectations and help you and your family stay healthy for years to come. We appreciate your confidence in us and we welcome the opportunity to serve you. Insurance providers we participate with include: Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Medicare, Medicaid, Piedmont Community Health Plan, Southern Health and United HealthCare.

🎉Welcome Dr. George Georges!

We are excited to welcome Dr. Georges, Endocrinologist, to our team. He is currently seeing patients at our Collaborative Health Specialty Services location and will relocate to the new Healthplex later this Spring.

Dr. Georges pursued his passion for endocrine physiology through graduate research before completing medical training in endocrinology. He is committed to compassionate, patient-centered care, recognizing the physical and emotional impact endocrine disorders can have.

Dr. Georges and his family recently relocated to Lynchburg and are excited to serve this wonderful community.
