On Tuesday, several participants were honored at the Beaver Dam Loaves and Fishes celebration! This Loaves and Fishes is a community Meal program serving at First Lutheran Church.

Every Tuesday, rain, snow or shine, our participants volunteer by delivering meals to out to the cars (drive through). They are all such great workers and they are such joyful helpers!

If you see this sign, it means that the resident(s) may need assistance clearing their snow! Do you know someone that may need assistance with clearing their sidewalk or driveway? Opportunities, Inc. is giving out FREE yard signs that can identify neighbors that may need a little extra help clearing snow.

As the cold months continue, many in our community are in need of warm winter coats. We’re asking for your help to make a difference! Donate new or gently used winter coats, clothing and accessories today! Your generosity can bring warmth and hope to someone in need this season.

As the year comes to a close, we want to take a moment and remember all of the things we have accomplished for our mission. We couldn't do it without or community, donors, or participants!

Last week, Opportunities, Inc. received a $6,000 grant from the M3 Insurance to purchase a new Hoyer Lift for Connections, the Adult Day Services program.

Connections strives to offer resources that are vital to maintaining dignity and independence for the participants. The ability to provide a tool such as a Hoyer Lift is vital and invaluable to both our participants and staff.
