PremierBank , a long-time valued partner of Opportunities, Inc. is promoting healthy living and inclusive recreation by donating custom handmade co****le boards to the organization. The gift, made by Brian Armstrong, VP/Loan Officer, will provide individuals of all abilities with a fun, accessible way to stay active, build friendships, and enjoy the benefits of physical activity.

Co****le, a popular lawn game, is recognized as an easy way to adapt to a wide range of physical abilities, making it an ideal activity for inclusive wellness. With the addition of the new co****le boards, Opportunities, Inc. Fort Atkinson and Beaver Dam can expand recreational opportunities that encourage fitness, social engagement, and teamwork among participants.

“We are grateful for PremierBank’s generosity and their commitment to supporting our mission of empowering individuals of diverse abilities to live active, healthy lives,” said Barb LeDuc, President/CEO of Opportunities, Inc. “These co****le boards will help create more options for fun, wellness, and community connection for the people we serve.”

The donation reflects PremierBank’s ongoing investment in local businesses. “It is a pleasure to have Opportunities right in our backyard,” said Brian Armstrong, VP/Loan officer who personally crafted the boards. “They are an important part of the Fort Atkinson community. PremierBank is happy to contribute to their mission, and we wish the bag throwers all the best in future competitions.”

The co****le boards will be used in Connections’ adult day services regular programming and events, offering participants and families a chance to connect through recreation.

Participants at our Beaver Dam location, Green Valley Enterprises, were able to visit the Dodge County Fair on August 13th and 14th! Everyone enjoyed the beautiful day and all the things to see and do. 🎪🎆☀

We would like to thank you to all of our volunteers for helping make the trip possible: Tammy Krueger, Jennah Aplin, Karin and Liz from Serenity at Home. We wouldn't have been able to get all of the participating participants through to the exhibits!

We held our butterfly release party, and this handsome little guy was eager to take flight! We learned he was a male, identified by the tiny black spot on the upper side of his hindwing. Now we’re excitedly waiting for our remaining two chrysalises to emerge!
