Past few days I had been engaging in healing work, and focusing online a lot. I decided to venture out today, and a Moroccan woman made my day! It happens a lot. So many of the people here are just major sweethearts! β€
I was feeling a little delicate and just not very brave. But needed to forge ahead to a busy part of the city to shop for groceries that I can't get at the Mosque grocery store, which sometimes consists of cucumbers, potatoes with lots of dirt clumps on them, a gazillion different types of little fruity yogurts, etc etc. π₯°
So I went to the Gourmet place. And during my shopping, came across her deli counter. She was warm, broad-smiled, beautiful and spoke English! π And as I am still working on my Arabic / French, I feel massive relief when folks speak to me in English!
I eyed all the colorful deli items, and my mouth began to water. I was hungry! She offered me taste tests of many yummy items. And she asked me the name in English of the kidney beans. I told her, and she began repeating it over and over: "Keednee beeeenz, keednee beeeenz", and then saying "I need more practice!"
I felt delight and chuckled, as her pronunciation was humorous, akin to my pronunciation of new Arabic words (When I try to imitate phrases the people teach me, they laugh heartily, and I laugh too, lol)
Upon leaving, I put my hand on my heart and said: "Chokran Bezaf, I feel grateful". She beamed at me and said "Please do come back. You are so kind."
Sooo many ways to heal. Wonderful folks right outside our door, Healing sessions, and the light of Divinity shining through us, every waking day. Regardless of our emotional states, the fabric we are all made of is Divine Love.
With love! Zoe
