Help us congratulate Arianna, our most recent music therapy intern, on completing her clinical internship this week!

Throughout her internship, Arianna completed multiple projects and a case study, and she also completed a DIR/Floortime training, applying that learning with several clients. She thoughtfully explored how this model looks different from person to person while gaining a strong understanding of how its principles can be applied across settings.

Arianna will leave a lasting mark here at ITNC through the many creative ideas she brought to our team and the meaningful memories we share.

We are excited to announce that she will be returning to CSU to complete her Master’s in Music Therapy. Congratulations, Arianna! And welcome to the professional world!

Please enjoy this featured video from our 2025 Summer Showcase Spectacular!

Every year, we feature a collaborative handbell performance in our Showcase, highlighting many of the incredible individuals we have the joy of working with here at ITNC. When we use handbells in sessions, we’re not just making music, we’re also working on skills like bimanual coordination, memory, motor planning, sequencing, problem solving, and so much more. This year, our handbell piece is all about spreading kindness and love through our rendition of “Put a Little Love in Your Heart.” We hope it brings a smile to your face and fills you with the same inspiration it gave us!

Our Virtual Summer Showcase Spectacular is a collaborative event sponsored by the We hope you will join us for our next one in June 2026!

Our All Abilities Choir is a music therapy group for individuals with communication and/or social difficulties as a result of developmental disabilities. The integrated group meets once weekly and uses vocal exercises, popular songs, and choir structure to practice breath and volume control, articulation, attention, and social skills. Participants join us with a wide range of verbal abilities. Contact us to set up a preview session.

This month, we are excited to highlight Jason! Jason’s joyful energy, playful spirit, and unbounded creativity are some of the many traits that make Jason a music therapy rockstar.

In music therapy, Jason is working on skills that support his self-regulation, academic skill development, and communication. He inspires us all with his amazing ability to use total communication strategies, whether that be through speech, gestures/signing, or assistive technology. Music is a powerful tool to support communication in many ways - Jason is blowing us away with his progress in speech production through singing!

Jason is a light who inspires us all and brings joy into the clinic each and every week while working hard in therapy. Keep rocking and rolling, Jason!

You may have see that we are collaborating with Museum of Art Fort Collins for our next All Abilities Open Mic/Karaoke night. Happening on Friday, November 14th! This event will also include an ART PARTY focusing on themes around friendship and relationship building. It’s a night to celebrate connection, kindness, and community through creativity and collaboration. This video helps to explain the two different art projects that will be happening so you know what to expect!

🎨Community Collage:
Each table will have large shaped piece/s to color and decorate together. Groups will use colors, words, and images inspired by the friendship theme. At the end of the night, all the pieces will connect to form one large, collaborative artwork representing unity and belonging.

Using a variety of decorating materials, each person will create at least two buddies, one to keep and one to give away before the end of the night.
