My parents enrolled me in gymnastics as soon as I could walk, and I quickly fell in love with the sport. I grew up doing competitive gymnastics for 9 years, then moving to competitive cheerleading and dance once I turned 11. As with all sports, injuries were unavoidable, and the one thing that continuously helped me find relief was Chiropractic. to a veterinarian, but ultimately I found my passion my senior year of high school when I took Anatomy and Physiology as my science elective. I fell completely and irreversibly in love with the wonders of the human body, from the way it was created and has evolved to its ability to heal itself. For as long as I can remember I have wanted to help people, and I had finally figured out how to do that. I wanted to help people’s bodies be able to heal themselves from the inside out. After years of Chiropractic being a part of my life as a patient, I started to realize all of the less obvious benefits I had been reaping. I was first adjusted as an infant, and according to my parents I was rarely sick and always had an uncanny sense of balance and stability. During my competitive gymnastics days we had a Chiropractor on staff at the gym, and after every major fall I got adjusted, which led me to quicker recovery times than the rest of my teammates. After 2 years of medical doctors and physical therapists looking into how to heal and rehabilitate my injured knee, I finally found help in Chiropractic, and was able to continue with the sport that I loved. When my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer my senior year of college, the only thing that gave her any relief from her pain was Chiropractic care. Aside from the obvious benefit of Chiropractic making everyone feel good, I started to see the healing powers it also possessed. Chiropractic was so much more than just neck and back pain, it was allowing someone’s body to function at its highest level. Since I started seeing patients, I’ve been able to help people with chronic migraines, weight loss, scoliosis, instability, sciatic pain, and more. I’ve also been able to help athletes perform at higher levels than they’ve ever known, and recover quickly and safely to get back to what they love. My passion for science, medicine, and helping people quickly led me to find Chiropractic as my purpose in life, and I hope to help as many people as possible function at their optimal potential and find Chiropractic as well!
