Make Space For A Positive Mindset. Hold On To: Good Deeds- Uplift someone else by doing something kind and notice how it impacts your mood and energy. I love this one especially this time of year. I have the santa gene. I don't really care if I personally get any gifts, but I love giving gifts. I don't spend a lot, i just get creative and make things. I have a friend that gives plants she grows, like herbs. I have a friend who volunteers his time to a few of his favorite causes. these are all good ways to also be a part of your community. Give a smile it's free and can make someone's day! I appreciate you!

Make Space For A Positive Mindset. Let Go Of: Your Ego-It's nice to be right, bit it's nicer to be happy. If it seems your willing to give up everything just to be right, you may want to reflect on what being right really means to you. Is this something that's effecting your relationships or at work? Do you maybe need to do some work in this area for your future happiness?

Making Space For A Positive Mindset. Hold On To: Quiet Time- Take time to reflect, meditate, or simple make quiet time for yourself. Clear your mind and let physical tension melt away. Now if your neurodivergent tension just melting away does not happen, you literally have to work it out of your body. I hear good things about magnesium, ma*****na, exercise and muscle relaxants as good ways to manage the giants tension ball that is you. Also you may not like that your mind is never truly quiet, but it is good to attempt to calm it down. Use music as a back ground and try following a thought like a thread, while lightly pushing the incoming thoughts away, hang onto the original thread till you feel your finished with the thought then let go. take a few deep cleansing breathes. This works for anyone who can not seem to quiet things down.

Making Space For A Positive Mindset. Let Go Of: Resistance-If you want different results , do things differently. Make small changes consistently and they'll add up and transform your life. Change is scary, but crucial to self-evolution; don't resist it. Remember failure is part of learning so don't give up if backslide, just start over and know each time you will get closer to your goal. It's just practice, you got this!

Making Space For A Positive Mindset. Let Go Of: Comparison-While it is easy to want what others have, comparing yourself is like discarding everything you've got going for you at this very moment .Admiration is awesome, as it's often a reflection of the great things we want for ourselves. Learn to distinguish between admiration and comparative self-judgement. This is also where you can fall into the trap of jealousy. that is where you find you can't be happy for someone's good fortune, you feel the need to tear them down and say to yourself they don't deserve that. This is where you are projecting your own unhappiness. You can acknowledge this and realize it can ruin your own happiness if you don't take care now. It just requires an adjustment to how you are looking at it. It is ok to be happy for someone else's good fortune if you realize it is not taking anything from you. your desire for what they have is just your mind saying hey I like that and I want to plan for getting my own or it's cool my friend would like me to enjoy this with them. There are many ways to reframe that take the poison making out of the situation and can create a healthier, happier life over all.

Posture effects your mood; make it work in your favor. Let Go Off: Negative self talk-Bashing yourself takes a toll on your health. When you hear negative self talk, say "cancel cancel" and replace it with a positive comment to condition yourself to be kind to yourself.
