The Special Purpose Outreach Team (The SPOT) is the only Syringe Services Program (SSP) approved by the Broward County Commission under the Infectious Disease Elimination Act (IDEA). We take a unique approach to healthcare through our cutting-edge mobile medical clinic, strategically designed to extend vital services to historically underserved communities across Broward County. We are dedicated t

o delivering quality healthcare services, seamlessly integrating mental health support, addiction assistance, and harm reduction initiatives into our comprehensive care model. Care Resource’s behavioral health team offers a spectrum of services from behavioral health support to addiction services and harm reduction strategies. The SPOT serves as a beacon of health, hope, and inclusivity, making a positive impact on the health of our community.
