DACCO’s Safe & Sound prevention program is designed to educate groups of students on topics of wellness, health, nutrition and mental resilience, to increase their chance of success both at school and at home. The following topics are addressed during a student’s time in the program:

* Problem Solving
* Communication Skills
* Stress Reduc

Once a student is referred to the program, a Prevention Specialist will assess their needs and appropriateness for the program. If the student is deemed appropriate, s/he will be seen in group or individual counseling sessions during school hours over a 14-16 week period
