➡️ TAKE ACTION TODAY! Send a letter asking your members of Congress to add their names to the Community Health Center Funding FY27 Appropriations letter.

Each year, Congress has to approve 30% of funding for Community Health Centers (CHCs). For this to happen, we need to demonstrate overwhelming bipartisan support for our funding. We do this by asking every member of Congress to sign a letter calling for robust funding for CHCs. The more members that sign the letter, the stronger the message to Congressional leadership about the need to support CHCs and the 52 million patients we serve.

We need your help to get your members of Congress to sign on! 👉https://bit.ly/CHCFY27Approps

What a day for ButtSavers and colorectal cancer awareness. 💙

Thank you to 9NEWS (KUSA) for spending the day with us and helping share the importance of colorectal cancer screening with our community. From the giant walk-through colon at our Longmont clinic to conversations about prevention and access to care, we’re grateful for the opportunity to raise awareness together.

A huge thank you as well to Liquid Mechanics Brewing Company for partnering with us tonight to support screenings through their fundraising event.

Community partnerships like this help remove barriers and connect more people to lifesaving care.

💙🎗️ It’s officially Colon Cancer Awareness Month. 🎗️💙

We’re kicking off the month with a throwback to our feature on Next with Kyle Clark on 9NEWS (KUSA) - a special Word of Thanks moment that helped shine a light on the importance of colorectal cancer screening and prevention.

We’re incredibly grateful for partners and platforms that help us amplify this life-saving message. 💙

And this is just the beginning - we have meaningful events, stories, and impact ahead all month long. Stay tuned and join us in raising awareness, encouraging screening, and supporting those affected.

As we close out February, we’re recognizing two important health awareness observances: National Eating Disorder Awareness Week and Women’s Cardiovascular Disease Awareness Month.

While they focus on different conditions, they share powerful connections.

Eating disorders are serious mental health conditions that can affect the heart and other vital organs. Women are disproportionately affected by both eating disorders and cardiovascular disease, though both diseases affect all genders. Early detection, supportive care, and reducing stigma can make a life-saving difference.

This month reminds us:

❤️ Mental and physical health are deeply connected
❤️ Early intervention saves lives
❤️ Prevention and healthy habits matter
❤️ Compassion and support reduce stigma

At Salud Family Health, we are committed to whole-person care - supporting both mental and physical health at every stage of life.

As February ends, let’s continue the conversation, encourage healthier societal norms, and prioritize heart and mental health year-round.

The bipartisan Community Health Center (CHC) Drug Pricing Protection Act would allow CHCs to still receive upfront 340B discounts and avoid a harmful rebate model.

📣 Protect 340B. Protect Patient Care.

Ask your Members of Congress to support the Community Health Center Drug Pricing Protection Act (H.R. 7391), introduced by Jack Bergman (R-MI) and Jake Auchincloss (D-MA).

The 340B program helps Community Health Centers provide affordable, life-saving medications and reinvest in essential services like dental, behavioral health, and chronic disease care. Proposed changes could force centers to pay full price upfront and wait for reimbursement, putting access to care at risk.

Add your voice today!

Support H.R. 7391 to Exempt CHCs from the 340B Rebate Model
