i am very big on mental health, i am a certified peer support specialist, and i am fascinated with networking & connection. My name is Jen and I am a neurodivergent Peer Support Specialist who loves cats and community. I created The ArtHubb to be a community where we share support, knowledge, and resources between each other. We are also a community that is focused on growth, justice, and equality

. I live stream every weekday from 8-10am CST a show called Breakfast & Feelings Check-In. We are very interactive and there are a lot of cats.

I have been painting quite a bit! Here’s an update!

Also, substitute teaching has been going well. Along with volunteering at the animal shelter. I haven’t had the capacity to run this page very much. But I am grateful for all of the support!

There are SO many ways Autistic people can present- Autism can look like the person on the left, the person on the right, a combination of the two, or even different from either child! That’s because Autism is a pattern of differences - and these differences can present in a wide variety of ways.

My main goal with this post is not necessarily to help you identify Autism, but to help y’all understand that it can look ways different than you might think - and to not “rule out” Autism due to one being social or friendly (as many people have a tendency to do!).

Wasn’t what I thought it would be at all. I guess I didn’t really know what to expect since I didnt read the flap copy of the book. I bought and read the book after ordering the book for so many people, I thought, hey! I’ll grab a copy too!

After trading this book, i thought It was okay. Some parts were good and then they’d introduce a new person or new people out of nowhere to edge the story along. Families, being split up, a pervert doctor, institution for handicapped kids, it was too much in other parts.
I’m truly sorry for being a Debbie downer lately with my book reviews. I don’t know if it’s because I read a lot, that I expect a lot more out of my authors!?! Or maybe, I’m just getting old and the books are just fine and I’m not…? Either way, I don’t know.

I’d love to read your thoughts about this book.

My name is Jen Hubbs.. I love to paint and enjoy giving others the opportunity to show off their creative sides. The Art Hubb is a central location for all of my work and parties.

I host private paint parties that are perfect for friends' nights, bachelor/ette parties, mixers, holiday parties, team-building, and basically any other reason to get friends together and have some fun. My goal is to facilitate a no-judgement, low-pressure environment where individuals have the freedom to get creative, whatever that looks like 🤪 PLUS! You name the location, I come to you. We are often more creative when in a more comfortable environment, and where that is, is up to you! I bring the painting supplies: canvas size of your choice, brushes, paint, cups, towels, plates, and easels. Depending on your venue choice, I can arrange tables/chairs, as well. You provide beverages of your choice. We can choose a theme or painting to fit your needs. This experience is totally customizable for your event! I would love to work with you! Pricing is based on the size of the event. I strive to keep my prices low, because being overcharged is no fun and I strive to be fun and affordable! Message me for a quote. I am working toward establishing base and package pricing to have that available.
