A few years ago I asked my neighbor if he could make us some soap dishes for our booth. He did, and then he started experimenting with larger items… and today he is set up next to us at Ocali Country Days with his beautiful wood work!

Years ago when we first started this venture we used to work with animal fats. Funny how things come back around as people are now realizing the benefits of tallow in skin care!
Our 100% grass fed beef tallow is rendered (by us) 5 times before using in our tallow face cream. We do this in an effort to eliminate as much beef smell as possible, because, while tallow is so amazing for your skin, we know you don't want to walk around smelling like a hamburger! 🤣
The way I understand it, the reason tallow is so nourishing to our skin is because - being an animal fat, it is what they call bio-identical - meaning the fats resemble those found in our skin, (Think about the skin being made up of molecules that are, say, round - the tallow molecules would also be round - which allows our skin to recognize and absorb them easily - where using plant oils, the molecules may be oval - which is just a little different and maybe not as easy to absorb...) (yea, I know - just an example of how I like to visualize it, don't call me out on the shape of the molecules... 🤣) .
AND it's vitamin rich. AND it creates a natural moisture layer. AND we keep it simple adding only jojoba (the closest bio identical plant oil) and a bit of clary sage ( for toning and anti bacterial properties)
We have had great feedback from customers, and have been using this for months ourselves and LOVE how soft and hydrated it makes our skin. I mean, you know if we didn't we wouldn't offer it... 🤣

Comfry is a special little herb, well known for its ability to aid in wound healing, pain relief, and inflammation reduction. We have been making the comfry butter for awhile now. To make the comfry oil that goes into the butter, we use the dried herb and infuse it for about 6-8 months before making a batch of butter. The feedback on this butter has been very positive!
After the last batch of butter, looking over the herb that was used to infuse the oil (we would normally discard this after processing) Mom and I decided that the herb and the comfry rich oil that was still compacted in the mush might serve well in a batch of soap - so mom made that happen and we now offer comfry soap!
This unique soap carries all the healing properties of comfry for your everyday use. Your skin will thank you!

Thought we would take a minute to talk about a few of our new products. They're all my favorite, but this body oil is at the top of that list! Super hydrating, it's an everyday use, all over oil that hydrates and nourishes the skin! With oils like evening primrose, patchouli, rose hip, lavender and geranium all bases are covered as far as firming, hydrating and boosting collagen production!
This oil goes on lightly and stays with you throughout the day. We recommend applying to wet skin after bathing, before toweling off, locking in moisture. Pure Alchemy Body Oil - it's not magic, but it sure feels like it!
