🌙 Sleep Positions for SI Joint Pain Relief 🌙

Struggling with SI joint pain that’s keeping you up at night? The way you sleep can make a big difference in managing discomfort and promoting better alignment. Here are two positions to help ease the tension:

🛏️ Supine (on your back):

Place a pillow under your knees to reduce stress on your lower back and SI joint.
Keep your spine neutral and hips aligned to relieve pressure.

🌙 Side-Lying (on your side):

Lie on the less painful side (if tolerable).
Place a firm pillow between your knees to maintain pelvic alignment and reduce SI joint strain.
Slightly tuck your knees toward your chest for extra comfort.

✨ Pro Tip: Avoid twisting your body or crossing your legs with your routine activities or sitting position—this can aggravate SI joint discomfort.

Consistent, supportive sleep positions can help reduce inflammation and promote healing. If pain persists, a personalized physical therapy plan can address the root cause.
