As a parent we want to be prepared when expecting a little one!!
Primitive Reflexes (PR) are something that is rarely talked about with expecting parents. They are very important in our baby's development beginning in utero.
The first time majority of parents hear about primitive reflexes is when they send their child off to school and they are being told or realizing the child is having difficulty with handwriting, reading, showing a lack of attention, showing signs of anxiety, and/or falling behind in school (the list could go on).
What if you had the tools ahead of time to track your child's reflexes and have a better understanding of child development?
Well, I am here to help you with that!! With my background working in the field of occupational therapy for the last 7 years and being a Primitive Reflex Specialist I have created educational resources to help give parents a better understanding of what primitive reflexes are, why they are important, what to look for, what activities can help promote integration, and how to test for them once your child gets older.
