A Moment with God and Me…
“Who Knows?”
During my ** “2 Chairs” time with God this morning I read this sentence written by the Apostle Paul:
“Who knows what He might do with a life that YOU have fully surrendered to Him?” In Acts 20:24: I also read: “But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.”
WOW! Now there’s two statements of devotion to God and Our Lord and Savior Jesus!
I immediately went to questioning Myself as to My devotion to God. I asked myself on a scale of 1 to 10 how much of My Life that I have left have I surrendered to Him?
Makes one think?? Firstly, I don't know how much time I have left. Also in so much as I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer 8 Years ago and told I only had 6-12 Months left to live and I’m still here this is ever so important.
Also from Acts 20:20, I asked myself will I be able to finish my course and the Ministry that I have received? Of course neither You nor I can answer that question. But what we can do is Faithfully serve the Lord as if We only have today. Remember this: The Road is short and Hell is Hot!

In my various readings I also remember a story of a preacher that said that he was “content to be God’s errand boy.” Could you say that?
Could You be content with serving with more of You if it means that Jesus’s glory will increase? Also do you want to serve for the good of others?
Let’s be serious, those around us may not be able to tell what motivates us, but we can be sure that Jesus whom we claim to follow and serve most certainly does.
Perhaps this is a good opportunity to prayerfully consider at what level of Service do You feel You are at and where is your want and desire to do what Jesus asked us to do?
Remember that He asks his followers, You and I, to: “ Love God with all our hearts, our souls, and our minds, and to love our neighbors.” All our neighbors! Beyond this, He calls for repentance, faith, compassion, forgiveness, and selfless service to others. He also instructs Us believers to make disciples, baptize, and teach others. Ultimately, Jesus calls for a life of following him, taking up one's cross, and seeking God's kingdom first.

In closing for now, as the title of this writing says: “Who Knows”
Yes, who knows what a difference We can make for the Kingdom of God with our “Selfless” devotion and service. The “Who” that knows is Jesus!
Every bit of what We think and do counts for saving Souls and increasing God’s Kingdom.
Now let’s get out there and do it!

God Bless You!

A Moment with God and Me…
"The Lord's Prayer"

Recently I was reading the Lord’s Prayer. Not because I don’t know it by Heart and Pray it every day, but to have a better understanding of exactly what it says and means when You break it down.
I’ve come to realize that The Lord’s Prayer actually says that God, as our Father, Our Creator, provides Three essential things:
Provision, Pardon, and Protection.
1- Provision for today (“give us today our daily bread”);
2- Pardon for yesterday (“forgive us our debts as we have forgiven our debtors”)
3- Protection for tomorrow (“lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one”) (Matthew 6:11-13 (NIV).

In today’s language, God is actually saying, “I’ve got all the bases covered for You:
Present, past, and Future.
Your present: I’ll provide.
Your past: You Sinned but it’s okay. You are Forgiven because You Believe in My son.
Your future: Don’t worry; don’t fear “I’ll take care of yesterday’s failures, today’s frustrations, and tomorrow’s fears because I am a capable Father.”
So, Here We go. Let’s ALL read it and Believe it!
And Yes, Live it!

“Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.” Amen!
Remember God Loves You and so do I!

A Moment with God and Me...
"Never Will I Leave You!"

Recently I have not written as I normally do.
The why is I had the extreme Blessing of traveling to England with My Darling Wife Emily Miller to be with Family over the past 3 weeks.
We have not had the chance to do so in 6 Years do to many different reasons. We Thank God the time came that We were able to go! We are Truly Blessed!

Now back to writing...
I'd like to discuss those times when We don't feel the Presence of God. Also when We doubt and question the Bible.

The Bible is an amazing Book filled with "The Word of God."
But some will say that they don't enjoy reading the Bible let alone Believe it.
Also that it's to complicated to understand and even boring as well.

Take the Book of Esther for example. To read it might bring up the Question about the absence of God being spoken about.
Actually, It is one of only two Biblical books that don’t mention God by name. The other is the Song of Solomon.
Why the omission? Biblical scholars have offered all kinds of explanations. But the fundamental reason why God’s name does not appear may just be the simplest: because perhaps He didn’t want it there.
Now that leads us to an even bigger question: Why would God not want His name to be mentioned in Esther’s story?

Many will say that it is because God wants to teach us that there will be times in life when it feels like He is absent. However that's never the case. He is Omi Present.
While God’s written name is missing from Esther, His presence is totally evident. Think about it...He is at work in the refusal of the Persian queen, Vashti, to accede to her husband’s angry demands (Esther 1:12). He is at work in making the young Jewish woman who the Book is named, Esther, beautiful (2:7). He is at work in the sleep patterns of the king and in his reading choices (6:1). And He is at work in overruling the hatred of the king’s first minister, Haman (8:7-8, 17). Esther lived “in the days of Ahasuerus, who was a mighty Persian king. But she also lived in the days of the almighty Creator God, who rules on high and She knew it!
We are also living in those same days just a different date.

We need to remember that Life’s story always reveals to us that God is always and in all ways in the details.
The Book of Esther makes clear that God is present not only in the “lightning bolts” of His intervention or in the parting of the Red Sea (Exodus 14) or the calming of the storm (Mark 4:35-41) but also in every second of every moment of every hour of our lives.
God is always there and working His purpose out.

Often in this Life I have found myself in the midst of deep darkness and circumstances that have certainly overwhelmed Me.
Without a doubt You have too.
That being the case, I pray that God will help you hear His word both when spoken and written. God always promises, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5, NIV) which tells Us that “All things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28) and which calls us to “Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you” (Psalm 55:22).

In closing for now, Realize this...
When God appears to be most absent in your life, He is still at work. He's right there with You. As Believers and followers of Jesus We all have the Power of God's Holy Spirit whom dwells inside Us.
We are Truly never alone!!
God Bless You.

A Moment with God and Me...
Sowing Seeds...

Did You know or even think about that everyone can count how many seeds there are in an Apple, but only God knows how many Apples there are in a Seed!
WOW! Profound isn't it! However very True!
We are the same. We know not when We plant a seed in this Life just how much we will receive from it but nevertheless everything We do follows the same principle. Good, Bad, and Indifferent.
It's called Sowing. Life is like that when We make decisions that We Pray will be good.
Therefor, whatever We sow and how We sow will determine what We reap in this Life.
"Whenever You have a Need, Plant a Seed. Nothing happens until You plant that Seed!"
Let's remember that Everything starts as a seed, Even Us!

A Moment with God and Me...
Far to many People today are not living their God Given Spiritual Gifts!
WHAT? You say...That's right. ALL of Us have been endowed with the seeds of Greatness. The problem is We don't realize that.
We go through Life with those seeds in our pocket holding them tight without realizing that to Grow they need to be spread about. And yes, it's true some seeds will not grow due to where they land and if the conditions are not right.
However, the Seeds You sow that are planted right though they will start in darkness, with the right nurturing will sprout and become like the mighty oak!
That's Gods plan for Us.
Find out what Your God given Gifts are and share them all over the place!
Others need what You have to share!
As Zig Ziglar says:
"You don't have to be great at something to start, but you have to start to be great at something."

A Moment with God and Me…
“Salvation”

Have You ever thought about the implication of the Life of Jesus on You and Your Salvation?? If Yes then Great!
If No, then perhaps you’d like to read on.

We as Humans, Spiritual Beings in Human form, are born Sinful in nature. In other words we go about our lives in this World living like that’s what it’s all about Me, Myself, and I.
When in fact that’s NOT the way it's supposed to be!

Upon our Creation by God We were to have Sinless lives until…well You remember the story of Adam and Eve.
Sin came upon the entirety of Mankind as a result of their Sinful act against God. Therefor We are all Sinful until saved as a result of that original Sin.

God later feeling that loss chose to send His only begotten Son. Jesus to Earth to Help Us and Guide Us back into God’s loving arms.
From John 3:16… "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life".

So, now the question becomes: How did he do that??

From the Bible, 2 Corinthians 5:21 explains that God made Jesus, who had no sin, to be sin for us, so that in Jesus, we might become the righteousness of God.

This verse actually highlights the concept of Substitution, where Jesus took on the Sin of humanity so that Believers could receive God's righteousness.
Read that again: It says “so that Believers”
Here's the breakdown:
"He made him (Jesus) who had no sin to be sin for us":
This part describes Jesus's role as a Substitute for our Sins.
While Jesus was sinless, God "made him to be sin," meaning Jesus bore the weight of humanity's sin while hanging on that cross.
In fact all the weight of humanity!
"so that in him (Jesus) we might become the righteousness of God"
This part explains the total result of Jesus's sacrifice.
Through faith and belief in Jesus, Believers are united with him and receive his righteousness, therefore becoming right with God.

What We Receive as a result is The Blessing of Salvation!
You are Forgiven!
The Price for your Sin has already been paid for however You have to accept it and believe it and if You don’t, You will not receive God’s Gift to Us. Question? Do You know where You are going when You die from this Life?

Certainly You do if You have Received Salvation.

In closing, for now, Remember God’s sending Jesus here was for Us ALL!
But again You must Believe and live your life in accordance with His Word!

God Loves You and so do I.

A Moment with God and Me…
What Defines You
“Are You Living Your Life by Definition?”

Have You ever Thought about the fact that You are being defined by others?
Well in fact You are! I mean how could You not be. We all have defining looks. Defining characteristics. And of course defining moments as well as defining careers.
All of that is Who You appear to be..
But what about those of Us that have a serious disease. It’s nothing we’ve asked for but nevertheless...We’ve got it.
Now to the point of my writing…
Now personally just passing the 8 year mark as a Stage 4 Prostate Cancer Survivor I have to ask:
Why is it that people look at our disease as the thing that defines Us?
For example; Oh, that’s John, He has Stage 4 Prostate Cancer. Or That’s Pam. She has breast Cancer.
John has or had a great career that He chose as does Pam, but somewhere along the way with the onset of their disease they are re-defined by others.
I think You’ll see my point. We are most often defined by others by the attachments we carry. The same is true for a Doctor or a Nurse. But again, as I’ve previously mentioned, that is a chosen definition.
Those of Us that have disease running around in our bodies have not chosen it. No, Not one bit!
We still have, and choose to maintain an Identity that resembles Who we are, not the disease. We are constantly reminded that We have this disease often enough. And yes, it does strip away much of our definition of who we really are shall we let it.
What I/We would like to ask You all for is to remember who we really are.
That We still have worth just as We previously did. We still can do and maintain to a great degree our original definition.
And Yes, We Love Your compassion, Love, Care, and Prayer, but please do not forget that like You, We still have a Definition and it’s NOT our disease!

Who You were Born to Be and what You choose to do with that, becomes your definition and that is by the Grace of God!

"You can' always get what You want!"~Jeffrey Miller

"You can' always get what You want!"
~Jeffrey Miller

"A Gift"
“You can’t always Get What You Want!
And sometimes you shouldn’t!”
The Rolling Stones Sang it:
“You can’t always get what You want
No, you can't always get what you want
But if you try sometime you find
You get what you need”

I appreciate the meaning they intended is not mine completely, however the Words work!
When We consider most of our time spent in this Life is an attempt to get what We want and what We think we need it paints a different picture.
This is where I need to say a lot of My Life I felt that way too. Work hard. Earn Money. Be a good Person, Husband, Father, Friend, etc. and also to realize I failed at some or all of those at times!

WHY? Simply put...My Focus was on MY WANTS and DESIRES not what I was here to actually do and WHO I was to Serve. GOD!
Yes GOD! Also, I thought I or My Family needed something in actuality perhaps We didn’t. I believed I was doing it the right way but in retrospect some of the time I was not!

We are Born to this Life to be of Service to God and our fellow man and to be good stewards to this Earth to Live and Serve God through an understanding of how to realize our Spiritual Gifts through Salvation and guide others to do the same. That includes our own Families.
Therefore teaching Children to seek their own Spiritual Gifts is actually what they need! To treat others with respect. To Forgive. To Love unconditionally, etc.
Looking at our World Today and ALL that is happening I must ask this Question…
What would our Country and this World look and be like if We ALL received our Spiritual Gifts at a younger age, and lived by them and practiced them daily?
I leave that answer to You.

A Moment with God and Me...
Please realize this... What we say in return when those around us are urging us to deny the goodness of Jesus will mean everything when facing God in our final moments here.
However loud their voices become, if you are His, then be ready to stand for Him. No matter the circumstance.
Our only hope in this life and upon our death is to respond in our hearts to the glory of what happened on that cross.
Thank You Jesus!

Where is Your Compassion?
PLEASE READ:

There’s no doubt that the difficult days in this Life here have perhaps created an increased willingness in the hearts of those around you to talk about what weighs them down and what concerns them about the brokenness in our world let alone this Country. Let’s face it, it ain’t pretty!

My Prayer is that it can be a discussion of Compassion rather than of Anger or Partisanship.

It’s made very clear when We read and interpret the Scripture, that the Loving kindness Of Jesus shows Us how to be and act despite the World views.

Through His purpose, As Believers God chose to use Us to enable others to hear His voice.
By and through the power of the Holy Spirit, and our learning and sharing about His word furthers His plans, that will change people’s lives and futures forever.
I titled this writing “Where’s the Compassion” because and please think about this; if We ALL led with Compassion then not only would this Country change for the better, but also this World!

The question now becomes this: Are You willing to step up and utilize this privilege, this Gift? Or will You hold back from it?
Following Jesus teaches Us many things about Compassion.

Take His encounter with the woman at the well for example. (John 4)
It was not the way of the times for a Jew to speak with nor even encounter a Samaritan, However Jesus did so out of Love and Compassion.
The story of the "woman at the well" demonstrates that Jesus comes to the least of these. As should we! He cares for the outcasts of society. As should we! The Samaritan woman was considered inferior because of her s*x, ethnicity, and relationship history, in other words who she was in society. But none of that mattered to Jesus because he saw her need for salvation. Do You think You could do the same today?
He also encouraged His disciples to open their eyes and “see that the fields are white for harvest.”
If we, like the disciples, as they were taught, look up and open our eyes to see the harvest before us… People of different backgrounds, Faiths and Countries, then we too must proclaim the word of Christ, declaring the “Good News ”that there is salvation in no one else but Jesus!

Now I’m not saying that this does not take Faith and certainly courage and a want and desire to Follow the Teachings of Jesus, For it certainly does!
Let’s face it, The message of The Gospel to most people today runs completely opposite to prevailing worldviews. Sadly, It has actually become the prime enemy of much contemporary thought in the World. In fact, claims for the truth of Jesus are not simply ignored; they are opposed.

As a Believer and a Follower of Jesus, our confidence rests in the fact that the Gospel message was given as a Gift to us by God. We did not invent it and we must not modify it. Instead We must Proclaim that it is, “all authority in heaven and on earth” Amen!
For in fact,“ all authority in heaven and on earth” is Christ’s, and He has commanded us to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:18-19).

This is where Compassion will certainly hold true. Compassion for those who will think that You are crazy or that You drank some form of cool aid.
Still hold fast and share the message that Jesus came as a humble servant.

Remember that: “He rode into town on a little donkey and spoke with gentleness and humility and when He witnessed the crowds,” He was moved with Compassion, because He knew that they were “sheep without a shepherd” (Matthew 9:36).
And by the enabling power of His Holy Spirit, we can also demonstrate the same care and compassion as we recall that we too were once “foolish, disobedient,” and “led astray” before Christ sought us out and transformed us (Titus 3:3).
So, now in closing, these uncertain times must move Us ALL to be ready to seize the opportunity to Witness and to proclaim to our family and friends that by the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ
(1 Corinthians 2:2), That We are confident that the Spirit of God can use our efforts.
We must be bold, loving, proactive, Prayerful, and Confident.
And remember: “For only in Jesus can darkness be turned to light.”
And only Jesus is Our King.
God Bless You Always and in All Ways!

06/12/2025

A Moment with God and Me...
Question??
Do You know anyone who can predict about You and your life more than 300 times and be right?
No, I didn't think so. And neither do I.
That said, In the Bible there are over 300 predictions about Jesus Christ that were written a thousand years before his birth!
From where he was born, how he’d be born, and including how He would die by ex*****on.
The Prophet David described Jesus’ death on the Cross in one of the Psalms. Though He didn’t use the word “crucifixion,” because no one knew that word then. But long before the Romans were even thinking about crucifying people, David described it.

Psalm 22: 6-8, David describes the Messiah's abusers and revilers in the mob that shouted for His death. And as the Prophet Isaiah later wrote: "He is despised and rejected by men, He was despised, and we did not esteem Him" Isaiah 53:3. Again, Matthew confirms the Prophecy, recording the reaction of the crowd, who unwittingly used its very words:
“And those who passed by blasphemed Him, wagging their heads.” Likewise the chief priests also, mocking with the scribes and elders, said: "He trusted in GOD let Him deliver Him now if He will have Him; for He said, "I am the Son of God.'" Even the robbers who were crucified with Him reviled Him with the same thing. Matthew 27:39, 41, 43-44)

WOW! Only God could have known all of that!

Also in 2 Timothy 3:16, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness”

My Point is that this is the WHY I have that Faith and Belief in the written word of the Bible. It is God's word to Us all!

How about You? Do You have that Faith and Belief?

I Pray You do! And if not, ASK ME! Also, I Pray You will seek out the Truth and the WHY Your Salvation is so important!

Please Remember...
It is a decision about where YOU will spend your Eternity.
God Bless You!

A Moment with God and Me...

What is it that holds You back from being who You were Born to be?? Do You know? Unfortunately a lot do not!
What does it take to find out and become that person vs the person You think You are?
Believe Me, it is a process that takes you on a journey that You'll never want to return from. Where to start is the question most do not understand.
I have been Blessed with seeking this answer and understanding that My Mind and My Heart are more connected than I ever believed.
Also by knowing and believing that God is My creator, Jesus is My Savior, and his Holy Spirit dwells within Me.
By having and living within a state of Gratitude for everything!
By knowing that when Jesus said "Pray as though it has already happened" is having that Faith and Belief that it has without question.
Which now brings me to ask WHY am still alive after being told that I had 6-12 months to live with Stage 4 Prostate Cancer 8 years ago.
Quite simply By the Grace of God!
When You "Transform Your Mind and Change Your Thoughts" your entire life will change!
Care to know more and receive a better understanding of how You too can attain this then reach out.

The Reason behind I AM Transformational

A Moment with Me... What is I AM Transformational?? Simply put, the act of Transformation is a process of profound and radical change that orients a Person in a new direction and takes You to an entirely different level such as in Your Spiritual Belief, Your Health, and your Mindset. Transformation is a daily occurrence, not some magical spell that God will do way down the road when You are older. Ask yourself this Question: If I am the same person today as I was yesterday, then how can I expect to be a completely transformed person at the end of my life? When I found out I had, as they said "Terminal Stage 4 Cancer" with no chance of Surgery, Radiation or Chemo doing any good, believe Me, My Wife and I were shocked! I knew based on my Belief, Faith in God and learned experiences that I had with Clients and with others in the past, that a full Transformation was not only possible but I was destined to do it and become it! And that I did with the Love of God, A Loving Family, A Loving and Prayerful Church Family and Help, Guidance, Love and Prayer from many Worldwide! Question? What are You going through right now that You would like to Transform? We all have something going on, right. With Godly Transformation You may not notice it today that You are becoming a different person than You were yesterday as often the changes are small in the beginning and We all know Change takes time.
