This week our Women’s Club had a beautiful moment of connection and confidence-building today! 💕 Each member took turns taking pictures of one another and then sharing something kind and uplifting about the person in the photo.

We realized how much easier it is to say something nice about someone else than it is to say it about ourselves—but that’s exactly why we’re focusing on self-care and self-love.

🌸 We’re learning to see the good in ourselves just as easily as we see it in each other.

💙 35 Years of the ADA – A Legacy of Inclusion 💙

This year marks the 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act — a law that changed everything.

Because of the ADA, doors opened — literally and figuratively. People with disabilities gained legal protection to access schools, jobs, transportation, and public spaces. But beyond the law, the ADA represents dignity, equality, and opportunity.

At Pathways to Opportunity, we see the impact every day. Participants are learning, growing, working, and contributing — not because of charity, but because of their rights.

✨ The ADA is more than a piece of legislation. It’s a promise: that everyone deserves the chance to live a full life.

When a loved one with IDD goes missing, every second matters. ⏱️💔

A heartwarming reunion was caught on camera when deputies found 13-year-old Mike walking alone on SR-82 last Thursday night. The boy, who is mostly non-verbal, had wandered nearly two miles from home.

⛳️ A proud moment for Pathways Birdies! 🏌️‍♂️

One of our very own participants, John, had the incredible honor of playing alongsideGoodwill Industries of Southwest Floridaa’s CEO at this year’s Rick Evenchyk Memorial Golf Classic!

Representing the Pathways Birdies program at such an event meant the world—not just to John, but to the entire group. It was a powerful reminder that inclusion isn’t just about showing up—it’s about being seen, valued, and celebrated. 💙

We saw tremendous growth in John throughout the tournament—from building confidence and staying focused under pressure, to showcasing sportsmanship and pride in being part of a team.

Moments like these show what’s possible when opportunity meets belief. ⛳️✨
