This Cabbage & Dandelion Detox Soup is packed with nutrients to help cleanse your body and support digestion. Plus, it’s perfect for fall! 🍂
Cabbage is known for its fiber and detoxifying properties, while dandelion greens are great for supporting liver function and helping flush out toxins. 💚
Detox Cabbage & Dandelion Soup 🍲
Ingredients:
1 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 head of green cabbage, shredded
1 bunch dandelion greens, chopped 🌿
2 carrots, sliced 🥕
4 cups vegetable broth
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp ground cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh lemon juice (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
2. Add the shredded cabbage, carrots, and dandelion greens. Stir for 5 minutes.
3. Pour in the vegetable broth and add turmeric, cumin, salt, and pepper.
4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 20 minutes until the veggies are tender.
5. For a little extra detox kick, squeeze some fresh lemon juice before serving. 🍋
