Got some big feelings about the Fourth of July? Same.

Let's talk about it with music that really matters right now.

Talking about the big feelings we may have during holidays, how we are supposed to feel vs. how we actually feel, is a really common discussion in music therapy sessions. How do we cope?

One coping skill and song at a time.

🎶 Hi everyone!

My name is Jennah David, and I began my journey to becoming a music therapist at Florida Gulf Coast University in 2019. I graduated in 2023 with a strong academic and musical foundation and completed my six-month internship at , where I focused on trauma-informed, client-centered, and humanistic approaches to care.

While preparing for board certification, I worked in both contract and salaried roles until I opened my own business in October 2024. After years of persistence, I officially became board certified (MT-BC) in May 2025. Now, I continue to serve the SWFL community—especially low-income with dedication, creativity, and heart.

As a q***r, mental health advocate, I know how important safe, affirming care is—especially for those who have felt overlooked or misunderstood. This space is built on the foundation of radical acceptance, advocacy, and authenticity. My work centers the needs of LGBTQIA+ individuals, BIPOC, disabled folks, and anyone navigating systems that weren’t built for them.

This practice is proudly woman-owned, trauma-informed, and even a little bit nerdy. I’m here to offer music therapy that feels real, inclusive, and grounded in justice.

Let’s make some noise for healing, growth, and joy. 💛🎧
