What is Trauma Response?

Trauma response refers to the physical, emotional, and psychological reactions individuals experience after a traumatic event. These responses can vary greatly from person to person but often include symptoms such as anxiety, depression, flashbacks, and hypervigilance. Understanding trauma responses is crucial for providing appropriate support and interventions. If you or someone you know is struggling with the aftermath of trauma, seeking help from a mental health professional can be an important step towards healing.
These responses can manifest in various ways, including physical, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral changes. Here are some common trauma responses:
