I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself a little more personally.
I grew up here in Fort Smith and it’s the place that shaped who I am. I graduated from Southside High School and then attended Hendrix College. After college, I spent time at the Cancer Institute at UAMS in Little Rock doing research while preparing for medical school. During that time, I had the opportunity to shadow several physicians, including Dr. Wagner, who would later become an important mentor to me.
I was grateful to return home in 2016 to attend ARCOM, and during my first semester of medical school, I had my first son. Over the years, I’ve continued to learn from Dr. Wagner, and he has also cared for my own children. That relationship makes this transition especially important to me.
I’m a family medicine physician, but more importantly, I’m a wife and a mom to three little boys. Because of that, I understand how much it matters to have a doctor you trust and a place you feel comfortable coming to.
This clinic is something I’ve dreamed about creating, and over the past week we’ve been here working late, making updates, and getting everything ready for this next chapter. It’s been busy and a little overwhelming at times, but mostly it’s been really meaningful.
Being part of this community means so much to my family and I’m so grateful to be here and to step into this role. Whether you’re raising a family, working, retired, or somewhere in between, I can’t wait to meet you!

☑️ If you’ve been a patient here before, I’d love to hear what you’ve appreciated most about this clinic.
☑️ And if you’re new, what’s something that really matters to you in a doctor’s office?
