We are a corporation, an aspiring non-profit, whose mission is to provide mobile vision services, clothing, food, and other vital resources, for at-risk and vision-impaired youth in underserved communities, starting with but not limited to the Atlanta Metropolitan area. anielle "DeeDee" Wright, is a young woman who has suffered from a degenerative eye disease since birth. Wright created SPEC LIFE with the purpose of providing at-risk and underserved youth (ages 0-17) with access to critical vision and health services for FREE. A few of those services will include:
-Free Eye exams
-Free prescription eyeglasses (frames and lenses)
-Child mental health and Family counseling services
-Clothing and food drives
-Educational stipends
-Tutoring and Educational Services
-Back to School giveaways and MORE! SPEC LIFE is currently working toward obtaining non-profit status. Until then, we rely heavily on the funds earned from selling merchandise via our virtual store (Website: www.speclifeinc.com (Coming soon!). The proceeds from each sale help us purchase supplies, provide vision correction services, and other vital services for local youth and their families.
