Families for Cancer Prevention United (FFCPU), is an organization created to promote and increase public health consciousness of cancer prevention

Families for Cancer Prevention United (FFCPU), is an organization created to promote and increase public health consciousness of cancer prevention by educating families about the importance of pre-screenings by way of routine exams and creating healthy family habits and lifestyles. Additionally, FFCPU is an advocate of higher learning and supports, financially, through scholarships and grants, the academic endeavors of minority students pursuing advanced studies in STEM relevant to cancer research. Objective: The EARS of the organization:
E- Educate families
A- Increase awareness
R- Promote & advocate Research dedicated to underrepresented families
S- Provide financial support through Scholarships to minority STEM students

Over the weekend we paid respect to two beautiful ladies that made and impact in our lives personally. We love and appreciate their families very much, Mrs Edna Grimsley and Mrs. Mary Sue Rich. May they both rest in peace.

We shared earlier a few things about Mrs.Rich which we had the pleasureof being neighbors growing up and friends. . But we have share, Mrs. Edna Grimsley was very close friend of our Mom's and our families grew up close.. The Grimsleys have always been kind and good spirited people like, believers in God and served the community well. We appreciate you and you all are in our prayers always.

Good evening, today, we attended the homegoing services for Tanjua Mays. We as an organization, presented the Mays family with a beautiful peace Lilly and resolution. The service was simply, beautiful, for the life of Tanjua that she served was well deserved. She spent her lifetime as a service to the community in many ways, as a domestic violence advocate, voters rights representative, and a cancer survivor and fighter. It was an honor to have her share a piece of her kindness and love with our organization as she believed in us and our purpose. She will be truly missed. Rest peacefully Tanjua ❤️job well done....
