July is National Park and Recreation Month—a reminder of how much joy we can find just by stepping outside. Whether it’s a walk through a nearby garden, relaxing on a shaded bench, or chatting with a friend on the patio, getting fresh air and sunshine supports your mood, memory, and sleep. 🌞 Let’s soak up summer in all the little ways that help us feel our best.

Sit on the patio with a cold drink
Take a walk with a friend or staff member
Read a book or listen to music outside
Join a gardening or flower-watering activity
Eat a meal at an outdoor table
Enjoy a group activity on the lawn
Watch the birds or look at flowers
Chat with visitors in the fresh air
Do chair exercises or stretches outside
