✨ What Is TMJ Release / Intraoral Massage? ✨
If you struggle with jaw pain, clicking or popping, headaches, ear pain, clenching, grinding, or facial tension, TMJ release may help.
TMJ stands for temporomandibular joint — the joint that connects your jaw to your skull. When the muscles around this joint become tight or overworked (often from stress, trauma, clenching, or grinding), it can cause pain not just in the jaw, but also in the neck, shoulders, head, and even sinuses.
Intraoral massage is a specialized technique where I gently and professionally work the muscles inside the mouth (with medical gloves) as well as outside along the jaw, face, and neck. Many of the primary jaw muscles can only be fully accessed from inside the mouth, which is why this technique can be so effective.
Clients often report: • Reduced jaw pain and tension
• Fewer headaches
• Less clenching and grinding
• Improved range of motion
• Relief from ear pressure or facial pain
Your comfort and consent are always prioritized. I explain everything beforehand, and you are in control the entire time.
If you’ve been living with jaw tension or chronic headaches, this may be a missing piece in your healing.
