As we step into 2026, we’ve been reflecting on what 2025 meant for TK. One thing we are overdue in acknowledging is the transition of our incredible House Manager, Kara, toward the end of last year. This post is a moment to pause, reflect, and express our deep gratitude for the way she served this house and the women within it.
💜 Thank You, Kara 💜
Today we want to take a moment to honor and thank Kara Cole for her SEVEN years of unwavering dedication as House Manager at the TK Women’s House.
Kara poured her blood, sweat, and tears into this home and into the lives of the women who walked through its doors. She led with compassion, accountability, and authenticity. She shared not only her leadership, but her experience, strength, hope, and her own sobriety. Because of her, countless women found stability, support, and the belief that lasting recovery IS possible.
Seven years is no small thing. It represents late nights, hard conversations, deep care, and a commitment that went far beyond a job. Kara has left an indelible mark on this house and on the hearts of so many women whose lives are forever changed because she showed up every single day.
We are incredibly grateful for all you have given, Kara, and while it’s bittersweet to see you step into your next chapter, we wish you nothing but continued growth, joy, and success in all that lies ahead.
Thank you for everything.
You will always be part of the TK family. 💜
We hope you enjoy this look back at all the lives you touched Kara! In no particular order!
